Research interests

My research primarily focuses on investigating the origins, processes, and consequences of innovation, particularly emphasizing technological advancements within high-tech manufacturing companies. While I previously concentrated on the technological progress of latecomers in emerging countries/markets, my recent research endeavors have shifted towards the domain of AI-driven innovation, particularly in medical devices. I possess a profound understanding and keen interest in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including computer science-enabled techniques such as topic modeling and machine learning. 

Student education

Although my position does not entail mandatory teaching duties, I have undertaken the role of seminar moderator on several occasions and participated in supervising master's theses.
