Profile

I am a Lecturer in the Economics Department, Leeds University Business School. Before joining Leeds, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAM), Department of Economics, University College London. I completed my PhD at the University of Padova in Italy, where my research focused on human capital formation and labor market outcomes in developing contexts.

Research interests

I am an applied microeconomist working on labor and development. My research spans three main areas: (i) globalization, trade, and labor markets; (ii) education; and (iii) immigration. A unifying theme across my work is gender, with a particular focus on gender norms and their role in shaping women’s economic outcomes. My work has been published in Review of Economics and Statistics, Labour Economics, Economics of Education Review.
