Yiru Chen is a postgraduate researcher, working for her PhD thesis under Prof. Muhammad Ali Nasir and Dr. Xingjie Wei in Economics and ATOD Department, Leeds University Business School.
Currently developing research on central bank communication and its transmission channels, with a focus on emotional spillovers and market responses.

Yiru’s primary interests lie in the field of macroeconomics, monetary economics, central bank communication, machine learning, and international finance.
