Profile

Yao is a postgraduate researcher at Leeds University Business School. She has an interdisciplinary background, with an MSc in Business Analytics and Decision Sciences and an MA in Social Research (Interdisciplinary) from the University of Leeds, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Yao’s research uses big textual data to explore and measure quality of life, aiming to connect computational analysis with real-world policy impact.
