WebText2Insight Workshop 9th - 12th June 2025

The Webtext2Insight workshop provided hands-on training in web scraping, natural language processing (NLP), and generative AI using state-of-the-art Python tools.

Thanks to Simon van Baal for organising a successful four-day in-person Centre for Decision Research workshop: Webtext2Insight. This provided hands-on training in web scraping, natural language processing (NLP), and generative AI using state-of-the-art Python tools.

Many of the attendees were new to Python, or had never even done any programming before, yet they were able to scrape and extract insights from mental health and science-based parenting forums, game reviews, and more!

The workshop had a great turnout as we had external participants from the UK, US, France, Norway, Denmark, and Australia.
