Supporting local women in business

On 6 March Leeds University Business School was proud to sponsor the Large Business of the Year Award at the Yorkshire Businesswoman Awards for the second consecutive year.

This award recognises women who excel in leading businesses with over 15 employees, celebrating strong leadership, strategic growth, and contributions to the local economy.

Congratulations to Paxman Coolers https://paxmanscalpcooling.com/ who took home the accolade on the night. Paxman Coolers are global leaders in scalp cooling and cryotherapy to help prevent chemotherapy-induced alopecia worldwide.

Nominees are acknowledged for their ability to manage larger teams, drive business success, and foster innovation, highlighting the vital role women play in shaping and growing prominent businesses across Yorkshire.

Catherine Thristan, Director of External Engagement (Partnerships and External Engagement) at Leeds University Business School commented:

The Yorkshire Businesswoman Awards remain an important platform for recognising and celebrating the impact of women across the business community, helping to inspire and encourage others. We extend our congratulations to Paxman Coolers for their positive contribution to the region.

The Business School is committed to working with business to collaborate, inspire and learn regionally, nationally and internationally.
