Alumni Reunion - MSc International Business Class of 2015

On 8-9 March 2018 alumni from the MSc International Business class of 2015 returned to Leeds from across the world to reunite with their friends, classmates and lecturers at a dedicated conference.

Professor Annie Wei, Head of International Business Division and Dr Surender Munjal, MSc International Business Programme Director welcomed everyone back to the Business School, and gave an update on the latest trends in international business. Alumni then had time to share their success stories with each other and challenges they have tackled so far.

Before dinner at the Queens Hotel, alumni took part in a selfie competition called "Re-live your Life in Leeds"; a chance to see what had changed across campus, reminisce about old times and take selfies with University landmarks and International Business staff. Congratulations to the winning group, Richard Torpey, Liyi Liu, Xinyuan Liu, and Riccardo Monti.

Ten of the returning alumni had the opportunity to become volunteer mentors for some of the current MSc International Business students. They will spend the next six months working together, to help the students to develop their employability skills, and ultimately gain a competitive edge in the graduate job market.

Dr Surender Munjal commented:

Overall, it was a great reunion with so many happy faces. It was a pleasure to welcome everyone back and we were very proud to see how well alumni are progressing in their personal and professional lives.
