International Study Tour in Frankfurt unites Leeds alumni and students

As part of the International Study Tour for our Economics, Accounting, and Finance students in Frankfurt, the Business School hosted a networking event for LUBS alumni and current students.

Hosted alongside our partner institution, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, the event provided an excellent opportunity for our Leeds alumni across Germany to connect and share their experiences of studying and living in Leeds.

Our alumni loved reminiscing about the campus and the city, exchanging their favourite stories and memories of Leeds. They all agreed that their time at Leeds provided valuable insights and different perspectives that have significantly contributed to their career trajectories.

The event was also a fantastic opportunity for our current students to engage with our alumni, learning how they have been successful in their respective fields. Our students were proactive in initiating discussions to explore career prospects and gain industry insights. Additionally, the event gave students a platform to develop their networks and continue conversations in the future. They took the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and share their previous experiences, gaining an understanding of what industries look for in employment.
