This popular Masters degree offers the perfect starting point for a professional career in strategic marketing. It is ideal if you wish to gain knowledge and skills in key areas of strategic marketing, particularly in an international business environment.

You will be taught how to appreciate modern and prospective new developments in marketing management theory and practice. Through a programme of academic and practical study, you will explore essential areas including international marketing, marketing strategy and marketing research.

You will also gain a comprehensive understanding of key international considerations, including international services marketing, consumer behaviour across cultures and global supply chains.

The course has received industry recognition through the Institute of Export and International Trade (IOE). As a student you will receive free membership of the IOE for one year, providing access to a database of networking opportunities.

The course has a practical focus and you will have the opportunity to develop professional skills through in-company assignments and case studies examining genuine business scenarios.

Entry requirements

You should have a 2:1 bachelors degree or equivalent, ideally in a subject other than marketing. The course is primarily designed for students with a general business or non-business background, but we will not restrict entry for those who have previously studied marketing.

If you are not from the UK please visit equivalent qualifications to find out about entry requirements from non-UK countries. 

English Language Requirements

If English is not your first language you need to attain a recognised English language qualification e.g. IELTS with an overall score of 6.5 with a score of 6 or more in each section. Read more information on English language requirements.
