MSc Economics and Finance
This course takes a sophisticated look at micro and macroeconomics and the methodology of econometric research, and is a good choice if you have some prior knowledge of economics.
Get a solid grounding in the tools of corporate finance and financial economics commonly used in financial services and quantitative investment analysis and research, and upon graduating you will have skills with a broad appeal to employers worldwide. Previous graduates have gone on to pursue careers as Advisors, Researchers and Quantitative Analysts in economic and financial institutions, consultancy and public service. This programme is also an excellent foundation for further postgraduate research and study.

Qualification Requirements
- You should have a good first degree (2:1 or higher), with a background in economics and quantitative subjects.
- If you are not from the UK please visit equivalent qualifications to find out about entry requirements from non-UK countries.
English Language Requirements
If English is not your first language you need to attain one of the following:
- TOEFL iBT: At least 94 overall with a minimum of 21 in Listening, 23 in Reading, 23 in Speaking and 24 in Writing.
- IELTS test you need to achieve a score of 6 or more in each section and an overall score of 6.5.
