Qualifications vary according to the programme you choose to study.

If you don't have a first degree you may be considered on the basis of your work experience and the relevance of the Masters programme to your role. Please find details of relevant qualifications below.

Masters Programme Qualification Requirements
MA Accounting & Finance, MSc Banking & Finance, MSc Financial Mathematics, MSc International Finance, MA Economics, MA Economics & Finance You should have a good first degree (2:1 or higher) in a relevant subject area, for example accounting, finance, economics or mathematics.
MA Human Resource Management, MA Diversity Management You should have a good first degree (2:1 or higher) in the social sciences.
MA Advertising & Marketing, MA Advertsing & Design, MSc international Marketing Management You should have a good first degree (2:1 or higher) in a non-marketing related subject.
MA Corporate Communications & Public Relations You should have a good first degree (2:1 or higher) in business, marketing, communications or languages
MSc Interntional Business You should have a good first degree (2:1 or higher) and an interest in the subject.
MSc Management You should have a good first degree (2:1 or higher) in any subject other than business and management.

English Language Requirements

If English is not your first language you need a pass in an approved test in English. These tests include the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) and the Pearson Test of English Academic.

The IELTS score required is 6.5 overall with no less than 6 in each section.

For the TOEFL test you need to achieve the following scores:

  • Paper Based Test: At least 580 overall, and 4.0 in the Test of Written English.
  • Computer Based Test: At least 240 overall and 4.0 in essay writing.
  • TOEFL iBT: At least 94 overall with a minimum of 20 in Listening, 23 in Reading, 23 in Speaking and 24 in Writing.

For the Pearson Test of English Academic you need to achieve 64 on PTE Academic, with at least 60 in each of the skills.
