Research

My wider research interest lies in the intersection between information management, IT and innovation. This includes the information and knowledge sharing practices of (especially multi-cultural) project teams working in multi-national organisations and/or on major projects. Understanding the role of information practices in decision making in such teams and the leadership and innovation challenges in these contexts has promising implications for theory and practice. My PhD research investigated the role of information sharing in the outcome of organisational responses to emergencies, focusing on offshore oil and gas industry practices.
