Experience
I graduated from the University of Hull in 2007 with a 2:1 honours in Psychology. I then went on to work within a large human resources department, gaining valuable experience of systems and processes. Being inspired by encounters of business psychology matters I decided to pursue a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology at the Institute of Work Psychology, University of Sheffield, graduating in 2009 with Merit. During my time studying in Sheffield I received the British Psychological Society Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing at Level A.
Following the completion of the Master’s degree I occupied a role within the Human Resources Department of a higher education institution, gaining valuable experience in the areas of organisational development, staff development and training.
I joined the team at Socio-Technical Centre in June 2011 where I commenced work on several projects including an organizational networks analysis. I'm extremely excited about pursuing my research interests in Organizational Psychology, which currently lie within the areas of job design, proactively at work and career management.
