Experience
Prior to starting an academic career, Barbara worked as Systems Development Manager with Equifax Europe running an IT department which supported and developed Equifax's database and products, as well as providing customised credit systems for clients.
Research
Barbara's research interests are in the area of individual decision making, with a focus on financial decisions. Recent work has focused on issues such as: the role of emotions in financial decision making, how individuals evaluate investments in relation to time and risk, factors affecting consumer's financial choices, and the acquisition of expertise in credit risk assessment.
