ESRC Accredited
Many of Leeds University Business School’s courses are recognised by the Economic and Social Research Council. This means that students on those courses can qualify for funding from the ESRC. ESRC funding tends to apply to PhD courses, and some masters courses. Many masters students will only receive funding if they choose to study a PhD and are accepted onto their programme before starting their MA or MSc.
CIPD Accreditation
Our MA Human Resource Management is CIPD accredited. This means that students on this course can choose to hold full graduate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, the professional organisation that represents qualified human resources managers and individuals in related roles.
AMBA Accredited
The Association of MBAs exists to oversee the standard and quality of MBAs available worldwide. As an AMBA accredited institution the University of Leeds has demonstrated high quality levels of teaching, in line with AMBA’s independent standards.

The European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) is the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. As an EQUIS accredited institution Leeds University Business School has demonstrated a high general quality in all its activities, and also a high level of internationalisation.
Member of the Association of Business Schools (ABS)
The Association of Business Schools is the representative body for all the leading business schools within the UK. Our ABS membership provides us with the opportunity to discuss best practice issues with other business schools and ensure that our standards of teaching, as well as our systems and processes, continue to excel.
