Many of Leeds University Business School’s courses are recognised by the Economic and Social Research Council. This means that students on those courses can qualify for funding from the ESRC. ESRC funding tends to apply to PhD courses, and some masters courses. Many masters students will only receive funding if they choose to study a PhD and are accepted onto their programme before starting their MA or MSc.

This means that students on this course can choose to hold full graduate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, the professional organisation that represents qualified human resources managers and individuals in related roles.
