Great reputation, opportunity to do a year in industry, and the practical nature of the course (not too theory based).
What did you enjoy about your course?
International Business Management and Management Decision Making; excellent lecturers and fantastic modules, real talking point when it came to interview questions on my time at University.
Tell us about your work placement
I worked for Epson Europe in Marketing Communications. Brilliant experience working on a whole host of projects that were visible in the market. Provided skills and knowledge I could take back to my studies in the fourth year.
What did you gain from doing a placement?
Skills, market awareness, firmer knowledge of what career to pursue, and presentation confidence.
What is Leeds like to live and study in?
Brilliant, great atmosphere off and on campus. Cheap and fun!
What did you do in your spare time?
Worked for Unilever as their Student Campus Brand Ambassador to encourage students to apply to their graduate scheme.
Also organised a monthly club night at HiFi for 2 years.
What are you doing now?
Body Shop and L’Oreal Graduate Scheme – placements in field, cross category event planning for TBS International, UK commercial for L’Oreal.
