Bursaries and Scholarships

We offer a number of generous scholarships to deserving candidates. Candidates will be assessed by their responses on their application and performance at interview, where they must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, career progression and their potential to contribute to the programme. All candidates who are offered a place on the course will automatically be considered.

Leeds Alumni Bursary and Excellence Scholarship

The University of Leeds Alumni Bursary offers 10% tuition fee reduction for self or partially funded students* for any Business School Masters degree.

Graduates of the University of Leeds (or an affiliated institution*) are entitled to a 10% bursary towards tuition fees. Find out more about eligibility and how to apply for this bursary.

The bursary is calculated based on the net fee remaining i.e. after other scholarships and awards have been deducted.

Fully funded students are not eligible for this scholarship. Please follow the instructions on the University of Leeds Alumni Bursary web page.

Graduates of the University of Leeds (or an affiliated institution*) with a First Class undergraduate degree are also eligible for the Leeds University Business School Alumni Excellence Scholarship. This is an additional 10%. See qualifying awards.

Professional and Career Development Loan

A Professional and Career Development Loan worth up to £10,000 can help towards the cost of course fees and living expenses.

UK Government Postgraduate Loan

UK and EU students may be able to apply for a UK government-backed loan of up to £10,000 to fund a Masters degree. Applications should be made through the Student Loans Company. Find out more
