Leeds University Business School is proud to be a top ten research-intensive institution, recognised by the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 which placed Leeds among an elite group of UK universities. The Business School ranked highly on the volume and impact of our research, alongside the quality of our academic environment. The School was placed in the top ten for ‘research power’ measuring volume and quality. Some 82% of research submitted was judged by experts to be either “world leading” (4*) or “internationally excellent” (3*).
Our research mission is to produce and disseminate world-class research, to increase knowledge, skills, understanding and impact. As a research-intensive Russell Group institution, our research power, size and diversity mean that we are able to offer interdisciplinary opportunities, both across the University and with a wealth of international partners. With over 200 academic staff in the Business School from across the globe, and a wider community across the University of Leeds, our people share a passion for excellence.
