International Business article winner of 2017 Decade Award

International Business academics, Professor Peter Buckley, Professor Jeremy Clegg and Associate Professor Hinrich Voss have received special recognition by the Journal of International Business for their 2007 article, “The determinants of Chinese outward foreign direct investment”.

Anne Hoekman, Managing Editor stated:

"On behalf of the Decade Award selection committee and JIBS Editor-in-Chief Alain Verbeke, I am pleased to inform you that your 2007 JIBS article, has been selected as the winner of the 2017 Decade Award."

On winning the award, Professor Buckley said,

"My co-authors and I are delighted to receive this prestigious award from the world's top journal in international business. We look forward to the discussion and presentation of the award at the Academy of International Business (AIB) conference in Dubai in July. It is gratifying that the article has passed the test of time."
