Corporate Wisdom: Thinking differently about entrepreneurship

Join Viktor Prokopenya, one of the UK’s leading innovators and entrepreneurs, for this discussion and networking event, as part of the Business School’s Corporate Wisdom series.

Viktor has started, grown, and exited numerous businesses, selling his first major venture, Viaden Media in 2011 for $100m at the age of 27. Viktor’s career as an entrepreneur includes, health tech, media and communications, gaming, and finance.

Viktor will discuss how viewing the world differently has helped him to start, scale, and sell businesses from such a diverse range of industries, as well as talking about his latest venture, Capital.com which last year had trading volumes that exceeded $1 trillion.

Viktor will also provide insights into the challenges and opportunities for innovators in the UK, as well as how the regulatory environment can be harnessed to improve the UK’s competitiveness to maintain its position as a global leader in financial services and fintech.

About Viktor Prokopenya

Viktor Prokopenya is a global investor and entrepreneur in the fintech industry. An influential voice on internet and fintech legislation and best practices in Europe, Mr Prokopenya has been a pioneer in the digital technology space for over two decades. He is a passionate advocate for fintech as a force for good, delivering financial democracy and accessibility that transcends borders.
