Angela Whitty

Cisco

Angela is the Managing Director responsible for Cisco's Partner Organisation in the UK and Ireland. Angela has been at Cisco for 23 years and has held many positions during that time, but until recently, always on the services side of the business.

She started at Cisco in 1992 as a Contract Administrator working out of the Brussels office. Through the massive growth years in the 1990s, Angela took on numerous roles allowing her to broaden her knowledge and experience. Angela's pan EMEAR roles have resulted in extensive travel over the years. In 1999 she moved back to the UK to take on her first management role leading the High Touch Operations Management Team.

Alongside counterparts at BT, she led the Cisco delivery team that designed, built and operated the 2012 London Olympic Games Network - a highlight of her career to date. Following on from that success, Angela subsequently expanded her responsibility to encompass the rest of the UKI Service Provider accounts and eventually ended up running the entire Advanced Services business across the UKI. She grew the AS revenues to almost $100m while consistently delivering the highest profitability across EMEAR.
