Emilio Carnevali is currently an analyst at the Department for Work and Pensions (UK Government) and a PhD student at the University of Leeds. He holds a M.Sc. in Economics (University of Leeds), a M.A. (Laurea Specialistica) in Philosophy (University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’), a B.Sc. (Laurea) in Economics (University of ‘Roma Tre’) and a B.A. (Laurea) in Philosophy, University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’. He has worked for several years as a journalist in Italy. He is the author of the books Liberista sarà lei! L'imbroglio del liberismo di sinistra (On the Fraud of Leftwing Economic Neoliberalism, co-authored with P. Pellizzetti, Turin: Codice Edizioni, 2010) and In Difesa di Barack Obama (In Defense of Barack Obama, Rome: Gli e-book di MicroMega, 2012).
Emilio Carnevali’s main research interests are monetary economics, fiscal policies, international economics and history of economic and political thought.
