Welcome and induction arrival dates 2016

The compulsory two week induction period for your course will commence at the Maurice Keyworth Building, Leeds University Business School on the dates and times shown below.

Applicants who anticipate problems arriving for the start of their course, or wish to change their chosen course, must inform the Postgraduate Admissions Office by email to masters@lubs.leeds.ac.uk immediately and well in advance of the arrival date. Exceptional cases will be considered at the discretion of the course director.

If you’d like to learn more about your course but can't visit in person, our online information sessions are an opportunity to hear from your academic director in preparation for study.

Online information sessions often take place between January and May. You’ll get an email notification when a new event is announced for your course.

Business School scholarships

Leeds University Business School awards a range of scholarships to UK, EU and international students. We consider all eligible applicants who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and excellent personal and professional skills.

Scholarships are available for all eligible applicants with an offer to study one of our Masters courses in 2016/17.

Deadlines vary for each scholarship, with many closing between March and July 2016. Please check the deadline for the scholarship you are interested in.

Leeds Alumni Bursary and Excellence Scholarship

Leeds Alumni Bursary: A 10% tuition fee reduction is available to eligible graduates of the University of Leeds and affiliated institutions. Find out more about eligibility and how to apply for this bursary.

Leeds University Business School Alumni Excellence Scholarship: An additional 10% scholarship is available from the Business School for University of Leeds graduates who received a First Class award in their undergraduate degree. Find out more about eligibility.

Independent visits

Our Open Days for this academic year have now finished, but you can arrange an independent visit to the Business School by contacting us.

If you’d like to visit the rest of the University, you can book a guided campus tour or download maps and directions for a self-guided tour.

Accommodation

If you are an international (non-EU) student you are guaranteed a place in University accommodation, provided you apply before 1st July 2016

Students should expect to be handing assignments in until 18th December and therefore should not arrange to leave Leeds until after this date.

Your masters programme is a full twelve month programme; you are required to be available for academic activities for the entirety of the programme.
