Naomi provides administrative and communications support to Kathryn Watson (Research Impact Manager), helping implement the Business Schools strategic aims with regard to internal and external collaborations.  Naomi's role involves managing and developing a programme of events and activities to support and enhance the research impact agenda for both academic and professional staff audiences. In collaboration with the Research Impact Manager and Research Engagement Manager, Naomi helps to build working relationships with external organisations and partners. Naomi also assists the Research Impact Manager in the preparation of the REF impact submission, supporting academic staff in understanding requirements and creating and maintaining records essential for the construction of case studies. Key activities include the internal Research with Impact seminars aimed at sharing academic experience of REF2014 and how impact is and can be built into research. Naomi also supports the organisation of the Ideas in Practice seminar series, joint academic-practitioner events aimed at extending engagement with key research users.
