Profile
As an ‘acadepreneur’, an academic with an entrepreneurial background, Kautsar is an avid believer in the importance of both theoretical and practical aspects in entrepreneurship studies. Her background as an entrepreneur has provided her with different perspectives in researching entrepreneurship. Kautsar’s research mainly focuses on entrepreneurship development in emerging economies. She also examines the macro-micro links of both formal and informal institutions and how they influence entrepreneurial activity. Kautsar is interested in further exploring roles of both enterprise policy and culture in entrepreneurship development.
