Profile

 

After completing an MSc in Occupational Psychology at the University of Sheffield, I joined Leeds University Business School in 2011 as a Research Assistant, where I worked on numerous projects with clients such as the NHS, British Gas, ARUP and Rolls Royce. During this time, I applied learning and expertise in organisational psychology and social-technical systems thinking to a range of organisational challenges, in projects such as Mainstreaming Assistive Living Technologies (MALT), social prescribing in the third sector and energy efficient behaviour change in schools. Following the end of this employment contract I moved into leadership development consultancy within the private sector. After rejoining the Business School in 2016, I was inspired to undertake my own PhD and was awarded a fulltime ESRC White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership. The scholarship included the completion of an MA in Social Research. 

 

Research interests

My main research interests are in socio-technical systems thinking, innovation implementation, technology acceptance and innovative business models.
