We are an established centre of excellence for scholarly research work in the marketing discipline. Scholarly research in these areas is also an important contributor to our teaching strategy, with particular reference to our well established Masters awards in Marketing. Staff contribute to research-led teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This approach stimulates students to apply their learning in empirically tested settings and also allows staff to share their research findings, implications and conclusions relevant to specific areas of marketing.

Our Division provides students with a rich, research-informed learning experience that ensures innovative learning opportunities in marketing.
We consider doctoral students to be an integral part of our activities and the development of the Division. We believe in guiding doctoral students’ scholarly research and, in turn, shaping their careers. Our research environment actively encourages student participation in joint research, conference presentations and journal publications. Our Division, along with the School, has made supported the research environment by organising frequent research seminars that include student presentations, as well as guest presentations by leading academics in the general marketing field.
