Jie Hong is a Teaching fellow in International Business at the Leeds University Business School, and before that, she was a lecturer (teaching and scholarship) in International Business at the Management School of University of Liverpool. She did her PhD in Innovation Management and Policy in Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. Jie has been engaged in teaching various MSc and UG courses in international business and innovation management. Jie’s research interests are in the area of International Business and Innovation management. In particular, her research focuses on identifying the influences that institutional environment (especially rule of law and IPR) have on offshoring innovation activities by using survey data and patent data.
