We all have stress in our lives and we all know that a small degree of stress can be a good thing. It's often when stress begins to eat away at our ability to be present in time, fall asleep and engage with other people, this is when we need to begin managing our mental and physical health.
Yoga takes a holistic approach to physical and mental health, as well as one’s well-being and personal growth. It is statistically found to reduce employee turnover, promote alertness, increase productivity, and improve overall health. In this webinar, Joanna MacArthur will address how we can benefit from workplace yoga. We will explore the reasons why we should strive to include this mindful practice in our working lives and includes:
• The sedentary lifestyle plague - how to create more opportunity to move in your working life
• The proactive approach to mental health - take control and take five!
• The physiological benefits of yoga - looking at simple ways to increase beneficial movement into our day

About the speaker
Joanna is the founder of 'Wholebeing Coaching and Wellness'. A 360* approach to mind & body well-being. Looking at each individual as a multifaceted puzzle encourages a more holistic whole-person diagnosis.
The vast majority of Joanna's career has been in management and marketing of private members health and fitness clubs. Yoga has always played a part in her own fitness regime. As a competitive triathlete, it certainly enhanced the recovery time and improved focus both in training and competitions.
However, on 9/11, 2001, whilst pregnant with her son, she was caught up in the terrorist attacks at the Twin Towers. This event led to developing 'PTSD' after giving birth to her son and numerous negative health implications in the following years.
Yoga was an incredibly positive way to manage both the psychological stress and the weakened immune system. Eventually leading to her gaining a yoga teaching qualification and also attending university. Having gained a BA Hons degree in Coaching & Counselling in 2014, Joanna chose to combine these approaches with yoga and mindfulness and created Wholebeing Coaching and Wellness. Most recently expanding her business practice to host holistic yoga and coaching retreats in Venice, Italy.
