Completing 2 years of 6 years (being a part-time combined studies degree) at Leeds Beckett University. Subjects being English Literature, Art History and Sociology

Mainly customer care through reception and telephone roles.

Self employed as a Registered Childminder for 16 years running my own business.

Trained as a Hairdresser at East Kent College, Broadstairs, after studying my G.C.S.E's at Ashford Girls High School. Working as a Barber and then Ladies Hairdresser for 1 year before going into other customer based roles.


Front of House Receptionist

Main reception duties including meeting and greeting visitors and students. Directing to classrooms, lecture theatres, meeting rooms and other parts of the University. Answering the phone and directing calls to appropriate contacts.

Receiving post and courier deliveries.

Booking parking and keeping the diary up to date.

Maintaining the info@lubs mailbox and forwarding to appropriate areas within the School.

Updating the plasma screen in the reception area

Organising DHL deliveries

Covering problems, jobs and enquiries in the Reprographics department in the absence of the operator

Updating staff profiles on the Intranet.

Post room duties.

Ordering of Business cards and making up proofs through the online system.

Reporting building faults to Estates and chasing up repair problems.
