Leeds University Business School enters partnership with Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K)

Last year, Professor Peter Moizer, Dean of Leeds University Business School, and Professor Marc Smelik, Associate Dean (External Relations) visited The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) to discuss various areas of collaboration between the two institutions, and the Business School is pleased to announce that an agreement of co-operation has been signed with IIM-K.

The agreement, signed between Professor Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM-K, and Professor Marc Smelik, will enable both the institutions to benefit from exchange of students and faculty members, and collaborative research on contemporary management issues. 

Dr M.K. Nandakumar, Chairman, International Exchange Programme, IIM-K, said: 

Top class researchers at Leeds University attracts substantial amount of research funding from various international agencies every year. The partnership would provide plenty of opportunities to the researchers at IIM-K to collaborate with the researchers at Leeds University and conduct research in varied areas of management."

The Centre for International Business at the University of Leeds (CIBUL) is interested in running research projects in association with IIM-K on inward and outward investments, links with the UK and analysis of economic performance and investment attractiveness of Indian cities.
