Business School academics engage in boundary-extending research across the broad spectrum of business, economics, management and policy issues, in dialogue with practitioners, policy makers and the wider intellectual community.
Our research centres and groups play an important role in fostering research that cuts across traditional boundaries.
Much of our work is multidisciplinary in nature. We undertake both applied and theoretical research, and we consider our research to be integral to our teaching, supervisory, consultancy and advisory activities. The 2008 RAE review of our research quality places us firmly in the top 10 of more than 90 UK Business Schools assessed.
