Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Programme

The Corporate Relations team at Leeds University Business School have seen their second cohort of participants successfully complete the 10,000 Small Businesses Programme.

A celebration dinner was held at University House on 6th March 2012 with Guest Speakers; Deepak Jayaraman (Head of Corporate Relations at Goldman Sachs), Peter Moizer (Dean at Leeds University Business School) and Rana Harvey (Managing Director, Dazzling Dummies –participant). The participants were presented with 10,000 Small Businesses sashes which fellow participant Gez Walsh (innergy) kindly arranged.

The third cohort which consists of 28 business owners were then welcomed the next day with lunch at Shine (Harehills).

 

The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme was first Piloted at Leeds University Business School in 2010. Since it began, the programme has seen approx 180 entrepreneurs ‘graduate’ with a Business Growth Plan and over 200 jobs have been created through the growth of those businesses who have completed all 13 modules.
