Your application should include:
- A completed application form
- Two references (one academic and one professional)
- Copies of degree transcripts and certificates
- A full curriculum vitae
- Your GMAT score report (if applicable)
- Your approved English Language test (if applicable)
- A copy of your passport, showing passport number and expiry date.
Your application will not be considered until all documents are received.

Places for our MBA programmes are limited so you are advised to apply early. Our closing dates for 2013 entry are:
- International applicants - 31 May 2013
- UK/EU applicants - 31 August 2013
- All applicants - 31 August 2013 (recommended)

You need to submit two references, one academic and one employer.

Your academic referee:
- should not be related to you by blood or marriage
- should be qualified to comment on your academic ability, if possible at the highest academic level in which you have studied
- should include the following information:
- How long and in what capacity the referee has known you
- A summary of what the referee considers to be your main strengths
- Detailed information on your academic results
- An assessment of your suitability for the Leeds MBA programme
- A comment on your English language proficiency if your native language is not English, including your ability to speak, write and comprehend English.
Your employer referee:
- should not be related to you by blood or marriage
- should be qualified to comment on your work performance and behaviours and should ideally come from your present or most recent employer
- should include the following information:
- How long and in what capacity the referee has known you
- A summary of what the referee considers to be your main strengths in the areas of a) initiative, b) diligence, c) flexibility, d) group working, e) critical/analytical abilities
- An assessment of your suitability for an intensive management education programme.
| Stage 1: Initial application review | We will review your MBA application form, GMAT score, CV and references to consider the strength of your application across all areas. If you are successful at this initial stage you will be invited for interview. |

| Stage 2: Interview | Where possible we will conduct a face-to-face interview. You will be interviewed by a member of MBA staff or the Admissions Director on campus, in country or by telephone. |
| Stage 3: Decision | After the interview a final decision is made by the MBA Admissions Team. We will take all of our entry criteria into consideration when evaluating your application, as well as your post-MBA career goals and whether the Leeds MBA is likely to help you fulfil them. |
| Stage 4: Accepting your offer | Once you receive your offer, we normally allow four to six weeks to accept and confirm your place. Original or certified copies of your supporting documents will need to be provided before registration. |
| Stage 5: Coming to Leeds | The starting dates for 2013 entry are: FULL-TIME MBA: 16 September 2013 EXECUTIVE MBA 7 October 2013. Particularly for international Full-time students we recommend that you arrive in Leeds at least one week before this to allow you to settle in to your new home. |
