Success in FT Masters in Finance Rankings 2017

The Business School’s MSc Accounting and Finance programme has been included in the Financial Times Masters in Finance Pre-Experience rankings 2017. This is a global ranking of the world’s top finance programmes.

The results are a recognition of the quality of the Accounting and Finance programmes at Leeds, and the part they play in the career progress of alumni:

• 2nd globally, 1st in the UK for salary increase

• 5th in the UK for careers progress

• 6th globally, 2nd in the UK for International Finance

The ranking is compiled from feedback from recent alumni (class of 2014) and information provided by participating schools.

Programme Director for MSc Accounting and Finance, Dr Konstantinos Bozos stated "We are delighted that our MSc Accounting and Finance programme has been ranked amongst the world’s top finance programmes. In today’s tough job market our graduates compare favourably to those from the world’s top finance programmes, particularly in terms of career development and salary growth. These rankings confirm our position, once again, as a leading provider of Accounting and Finance education."

Dean of Leeds University Business School, Professor Peter Moizer said: "I am thrilled that our Finance programmes have once again been recognised amongst the world’s best. These excellent results reflect the quality of our teaching staff and professional development that we have in place to support our students during their time in Leeds and beyond."

These results follow on from other recent rankings successes for the Accounting and Finance Division and the School

Accounting and Finance at Leeds University Business School has been placed 1st across all three UK subject tables  (The Complete University Guide 2018, The Guardian University Guide 2018 and The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017).

In May our MSc Management Programme appeared in the Economist Master in Management rankings 2017. Earlier in the year our full time MBA and Executive MBA scored highly in the 2017 CEO Magazine rankings.
