Leeds University Business School is number one in the UK for Accounting and Finance, for the second year running, according to the Guardian University Guide 2018, released today.
The School is placed:
- 1st in the UK for the Accounting and Finance subject area
- 6th in the UK for the Economics subject area
- 7th in the Russell Group for the Business, Management and Marketing subject area.
The University of Leeds has increased its position overall to 14th in the UK.
Peter Moizer, Executive Dean at Leeds University Business School said: “We are extremely proud to be number one for Accounting and Finance for the second year running, and equally pleased to be placed in strong positions for all the business subject areas.”
Accounting and Finance success across UK subject tables
These latest results reinforce the School's leading position for Accounting and Finance study. The subject area has been placed 1st across all three UK subject tables (The Complete University Guide 2018, The Guardian University Guide 2018 and The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017) with the latter two for the second year in a row.
Professor Kevin Keasey, Head of the Accounting and Finance Division said: "Maintaining 1st position in the Guardian, along with the other league tables, is testament to the depth of quality that has been built in the Accounting and Finance Division."
